Unity Northwest offers Spiritual Counseling to give you compassionate care, support and encouragement. Counselors assist you through prayer and empathic listening, in developing a growing understanding and appreciation for the presence, comfort, and guidance of God. Spiritual Counseling is designed to inspire and awaken you to the possibilities of inner growth in the midst of life challenges. After a complementary phone introduction, the counselor will recommend a program of support and discuss costs. Sliding scales available.

COUNSELORS

ELIZABETH MORA, M. DIV, SENIOR MINISTER, SPIRITUAL COUNSELOR

Elizabeth Mora is the Senior Minister of the church and also a Spiritual Counselor. With 35 years in Unity, she brings deep and varied teachings to the issues people face. With a transpersonal approach, she shares a compassionate heart, prayer, deep listening, humor, and real-world practices to help overcome challenges.

LYNN BARRETTE: LCSW

Lynn Barrette integrates spirituality with therapy, offering tools for forgiveness, acceptance, meditation and relaxation, and positive parenting solutions. She is an MSW, Clinical Therapy, graduate from Wayne State University, Detroit; and a Licensed Unity Teacher specializing in spiritual counseling.

LEO J. DHONT, LCSW

Leo J. Dhont is a licensed Clinical Social Worker whose service to clients spans 50 years. He specializes in working with couples searching for mutual understanding growth and improved communication skills, as well as individuals seeking greater self awareness. He uses several of his learned philosophies, the main one being Imago Relationship Therapy. Leo is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.

PEGGY MARA-DHONT, RELATIONSHIP COACH

Peggy Mara-Dhont is a Relationship Coach and holds a B.A. in Special Education. Peggy believes that teaching couples to love - especially those who are parents - will enable future generations to create loving relationships of their own. She supports women in mid-life to find their inner wisdom and purpose. Peggy is certified in Imago Relationship Therapy and Internal Family Systems, and is a Licensed Unity Teacher with a Focus on Pastoral Care.
